Inception

No doubt the best movie ever.

Rewatched a gazillion times.

The idea that to introduce a notion to someone, we mz break it down to its simpliest/ rawest state: Emotions. Then by playing on the person's emotion, you allow them to "grow" the idea themselves.

Nolan, is amazing. The timing of the show.... reflects how wonderful his mind could slice up stories. A wonderful story teller of inter-world integration.

Sigh~ He makes me jealous of his brilliance

Dr Doolittle

Used to love this as a kid.

It was fine. Not great. Interesting idea. I quite like Eddie Murphy. Was it funny? Perhaps in some simple manners.Slapstick really. But its not a very fresh original open-your-mind kinda movie. Ok for kids to watch perhaps, to let them know its alright to be a lil weird/special sometimes.

Flight

Unlike what the names suggest, the focus of the movie is NOT on the flight. but the alcoholic issue the pilot has.

Is it a good show? Perhaps. It's one of those movie that has a moral behind it i guess. at some part is was forcefully happy. But otherwise didnt feel much in the plot segment. Great cast though. Otherwise not something I would bother to rewatch

50 first dates

It's one of the sweetest idea.

Romantic.

Good plot.

Well thought.

One of my fav R movie

Ted

A swearing teddy bear. interesting at best. story plot kinda... non-existent. but kinda addressing a very important problem most gals are facing. When a guy dates a gal (after a substantial amt of time), he feels entitled to just "be himself". Which usually means he's gonna be all childish and silly and super giggly. Sometimes good. Sometimes TERRIBLE!

A good reminder for all of us that despite all our daydreaming n etc, sometimes its time to wake up into reality n bloody grow up.

Mr Bean on a Holiday

I still am amazed each time i rewatch Mr Bean, that anyone (and even myself as a child) finds him amusing. He's just a self-centred guy who causes so much trouble for everyone else. I totally loathe him.

As it is, the movie was not that funny, he reused quite a bit of his old materials from the TV show. And most of the time I just found him to be pretty dumb. The only plus point of the show is the cute lil boy in it. Max. ohhhhhhhhhhhhh~ he's soooooooooooooooo adorable!

Animated (Cartoon) Movies

Planes.

Very standard Disney plot. Nothing too special.

Wall-E.

All time fav. Funny, adorable. Boring plot, but lovable characters.

Despicable Me.

One first good. Two was plain rushed. The only thing great is the minions that are just too cute.

Lilo and Stitch.

Stitch was cute, the plot kinda predictable except the end  guess. Typical Disney. But still adorable.

Mulan.

One was always great for me. Think there was a voice cast change for Two. Mushu too evil for my liking in Two. Too much going on. That's always the case for Disney sequels.

Peter Pan.

I almost forgot about him losing his shadow. lol. otherwise, its fine, a bit too heavy on the jealousy on tinkle bell's part. there's sth lacking about this one compared to the movie, which is the part where all the kids say "i do believe in fairy" in order to save tinkle. otherwise.. the show was.. boring?

Tangled.

An interesting way of retelling Rapunzel. Which explains why she had such a long hair and etc. Plus its magical! Haha. Disney still going on strong about the whole believe in Dreams kinda propaganda. Is it just them trying to hold on to their market share, worried that they will be losing kids' attn soon? have to wonder somehow.

Legend of the Guardians

Story about dispute of OWLS?! I love the animation, how detailed the movement and the appearance of the owls are. Besides that the plot seemed pretty haphazard to me, with no clear explanation about the "magical" pellets and how the antagonist found them and how it really functions against the protagonist. Strong on believe in dreams, again. So very Disney.
