Song of the Sound

by Adam Armstrong

A rather good novel in terms of the visual images it put in my mind, using just words. Nothing too complicated, as far as the plot is concerned. It's a casual way of describing how ppl relate to one another...

Its best part is how real it felt. It was like what could possibly be real. Nothing far-fetched like most Hollywood production these days.

Claudine

by Stephen King

It's about a car that sort of came alive. Could have been good, had it not been so long and... windy...

A let-down, since I expected more from the writer. Not recommendable.

Desperation

by Stephen King

As usual, a thick book to wade through. But undeniable hook. I could feel the horror, and despite its 700++ pages, it managed to hold me on most of the time. Put away-able, but hard :)

Dont remember the details, but goosebump automatically pops when I try to think of the book.

Legacy of Silence

by Belva Plain

Quite a slow progress of the plot... Good for light/idle read. But a little too sad for my liking. A twist was expected, but the actual twist was mind-blowing.

Not too enjoyable.

But it managed to roughly write out the effect of decisions made on a few generations.

Secret Sins

by Stephanie Blake

Personally loved the character(s): Mara.

Entertaining enough for me to read again and again. Suspect its the lure of the character: Strong, Beautiful and Powerful.
